Check out our CEO’s inspirational interview on the importance of Financial Feminism, as featured in Rebelle Magazine.

Finances play a big role in the pursuit of independence.

That is why, it comes without a wonder to say that feminism and money go hand in hand. Without feminism, the financial world would be marked by a higher gender pay gap, that now remains at 6.5% in the UK, and without financial security, women cannot become the fully independent career ladies they strive to be.

However, in the 21st century, women are still discouraged to peek into the world of finances and manage their money intake, either by men who are still not considered to be the main breadwinners in the family, as well as in other settings such as the workplace.

Now it is more important than ever to bring to light the new trend of financial feminism, battling social norms of women relying on others for financial support. Yes, women are more than capable of sorting out their finances without co-dependence – but is it as easy as it seems?
